Sunsets over Birmingham

ND – Late and Dark, Bluer than ever

Returning to ND’s roots, we’ve had some amazing sunsets in Birmingham this year. Unusually, after a couple of years of nothing but damp grey overcast memories, things perked up in March 2010 and we’ve had a surprisingly high number of gorgeous days here since then. Variable as ever of course, but the usable light average is definitely up 🙂

This light has helped produce a wide range of truly stunning sunsets, possibly aided by residual volcanic ash at times, but given how recently some of them have been i suspect other magic may have been at work. Here are 4 favourites.

Red Sunset 1

Red Sunset 2

Jupiter Sunset

Red Sunset 3

BTW, apologies for my slow updates this month, other projects just got in the way. But i’ve been out shooting and there are some great images coming up soon.

Have fun,

About nakedigit

I have legs and a camera. I also occasionally use a passport. The camera with my brightest lenses can almost (almost) see in the dark. So the only thing stopping me from putting it all together regardless of where and when i am is, well, me really! However, when i don't completely muck it up the results may end up here on this blog and also my Flickr page. I now Twitter and a website is coming... ND August 2010
